At UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital, patients have access to AI-assisted colonoscopy, an advanced screening technology that helps physicians detect polyps that may be difficult to see during a routine colonoscopy.
- HPV-related head and neck cancer is one of the fastest-growing cancers in the United States, particularly among younger adults who have never smoked. When detected early, however, HPV-related oropharyngeal cancers have cure rates exceeding 80% to 90%.
