Entrance & Parking
Free parking and direct access to the Advanced Care Clinic are available at the back of the hospital, off of James P. Hollers Drive.

The Advanced Care Clinic provides round-the-clock diagnostics and specialty care for UT Health San Antonio patients who are referred by their doctor following a treatment, procedure or surgery.
If you have questions or need assistance after leaving our hospital, we are here to help. Refer to the instructions in your discharge paperwork or review your after-visit summary in MyChart. You may also call your provider's office to speak with a member of the team.
Patients we serve
The Advanced Care Clinic is here for:
Patients currently under the care of a UT Health San Antonio surgeon or specialist who has referred them for an appointment.
Patients with cancer who have been referred by their UT Health San Antonio oncologist.
We do not provide appointments for life-threatening emergencies. Please call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room if you are experiencing:
Cardiac or heart concerns
Stroke symptoms
Traumatic injuries
Acute psychiatric issues

What to expect
Before your visit: Contact your UT Health San Antonio provider to share your symptoms and needs. They may refer you for an appointment at our Advanced Care Clinic.
If you've recently been discharged from our hospital, refer to your discharge paperwork or your after-visit-summary in MyChart for contact information and detailed instructions.
During your visit: Following your check-in, our team of experienced professionals will perform a thorough evaluation, while collaborating with you and your care team to create a personalized plan. Our clinic is fully-equipped to care for our patients and perform necessary lab tests and imaging.
After your visit: You will receive clear instructions and follow-up recommendations. If further care is required, we will ensure your seamless admission to our hospital.
