Tour the new Hospital.

Construction Progress

The Multispecialty and Research Hospital, positioned on 12.2 acres, has reached its highest peak; and, our skilled construction team of 700-plus is diligently and safely progressing. When complete, the hospital will be eight stories high, house 12 operating rooms, 144 beds, state-of-the-art technology and have a sky bridge connecting it to the Mays Cancer Center.

Alamo Architects is a multidisciplinary firm, providing architectural design, planning, and interior design services.   Like UT Health San Antonio, Alamo Architects is deeply rooted in San Antonio and are especially proud of their continuing relationship with UT Health, with whom we have worked collaboratively on five major projects in recent years.

Established in 1984, Alamo Architects is thoroughly engaged with institutional, educational, multifamily and retail architecture, as well as master planning and project management for complex integrated urban projects. Their varied experience and expertise include Sustainable Design, Multi-Family Housing, Parking Structures, Civic, Academic, and Historic/Adaptive Reuse projects.
